"Love" at City on a Hill at Spring Creek

The majority of our stays at City on a Hill in the past have been in VICTORY, with an occasional stay in MARY. Due to our travel schedule, we stayed in LOVE this time. The cabin interior is a little smaller, but it suited our needs and we were quite comfortable. I felt that the view from the porch was actually better than where we stayed before. Everything was clean and there were sufficient kitchen appliances to prepare breakfast. We love the quiet, and the great weather just made things better. We continue to recommend City on a Hill to friends, and we will stay here when we return to the Fredericksburg area.

Everything was better than expected, we will be returning. Thank you Positive: The view from the back patio was wonderful. The cottage was very clean and welcoming. Negative: We did not get to see the cows or horses, but they are free ranging so unpredictably is understood. We did, however, get to see deer every morning from the patio.

Positive: Location, cleanliness, comfort and quiet. Hot tub was wonderful and the scenery was very pleasant. Negative: No exhaust fan in bathroom and the shower pressure was lacking. Restroom is open at the top and the odors travel up and into the main cabin area

Very nice cabin among five others. Far from restaurants.

The cabin is very nice. I love the view and the animals. I liked how quiet it was, and the owners were very responsive if I needed something.
